Requirements and Responsibilities of the Dental Assistant: No experience necessary, 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
Treatment coordinating experience is strongly preferred, but is not required
Record and maintain dental photos, CBCT, and intraoral scanning files
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures and patient charting
Set up patients for procedures and dismiss patients at end of procedure
Sanitize operatories according to OSHA standards
Set up and stock all operatories
Assist hygienist(s) when requested
Carry out laboratory work such as pouring models and making essix retainers
Complete all cleaning by the end of each shift
Schedule for the Dental Assistant: Monday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 7:00PM Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (once a month)
