Digital Dental Technician Job Description: Johns Dental Laboratories is seeking a Digital Dental Technician. Since 1939, our mission has been to provide the highest level of quality in all of our dental prosthetics and appliances-one case at a time. We do this by employing highly skilled technicians who we consider our greatest asset, while reinvesting in new technology and techniques to better serve our doctors and their patients. This is an entry level technician position. We will train the right candidate. Duties and responsibilities: Daily use of CAD/CAM equipment Perform all production tasks Maximize production and time Maintain a daily log Perform routine arithmetic calculations Maintain cleanliness of the 3D printing equipment Move materials or products Maintain strict confidentiality of the patient and business Qualifications include: High School Diploma or equivalent Computer Literacy Workplace punctuality Professionalism Time management and ability to meet deadlines Manual dexterity and spatial acuity Focus to work at a steady pace throughout the day Must be able to read calipers, scales, and graphics as they are presented Some orders require full visual color perception Preferred Qualifications include: Graphic design experience Dental experience Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Vision insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid Time Off Vacation Paid Holidays Schedule: 10 hour day shift Monday to Thursday Overtime possible Work Location: In person Physical and Working Conditions: Most work is performed in a sitting position, with occasional standing required for specific tasks Work involves walking, bending, and using arms, wrists, hands, and fingers intensively Work environment may include exposure to airborne particles, fumes, gases, and elevated noise from machinery Vision requirements must be met
