We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Engineer with extensive expertise in Windows Server migrations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing large-scale migrations of Windows-based systems, including upgrades, platform transitions, and cloud integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and secure migrations while minimizing downtime and disruptions. Your deep knowledge of Windows infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and enterprise-level deployment strategies will be critical in optimizing system performance and ensuring the successful transition of services to new environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the migration of Windows Server environments, including on-premises to cloud, hybrid, and cross-platform transitions. Provide expert-level guidance on migration best practices, tools, and methodologies. Plan, design, and execute complex migrations while minimizing risk and ensuring operational continuity. Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues, providing post-migration support as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals. Mentor and train junior engineers on migration processes and Windows server technologies. Document migration processes, plans, and outcomes for future reference and audits. Qualifications: Proven experience in Windows Server migrations (on-prem to cloud, cross-platform). Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, and virtualization technologies. Experience with tools such as Azure Migrate, VMware, or similar migration tools. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely resolutions. Excellent communication and project management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
