Who We Need: We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to shape the vision, product strategy and user experience of Rillet. You’ll be working closely with the product and engineering leadership to build an accounting & finance software that will be industry defining. The role is remote first with opportunities to travel for team events. What You'll Do: Define and drive the full design process from user research, product flows, and wire-framing to UI design.

Work closely with product and engineering to define both the short-term tactical goals and long-term product vision and roadmap.

Establish design principles and set the direction for Rillet’s design system.

Lead User Research initiatives.

Understand the array of user goals, business requirements and technical constraints that shape our product.

Pull inspiration from various sources to invent new interaction paradigms in finance & accounting.

Lead a team of product designers, acting as a mentor and coach to ensure their success.

Recruit and onboard new product designers.

Be hands-on and contribute directly to Rillet’s UX/UI design.

What We're Looking For: 5+ years experience leading design teams in product-driven B2B SaaS environment.

5+ years experience working on end-to-end design projects, from research to implementation.

Proven experience working with complex design problems and systems.

Demonstrated experience with all stages of the design process, from discovery to delivery.

Ability to understand and visualize complex systems, from financial concepts to design system components.

You challenge the status quo and bring in inspiration from various sources.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to work with internal cross-functional teams and customers.
