Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, trusts, nonprofits (990s), and individuals Prepare payroll and sales tax returns Participate as part of a multi-disciplinary tax team providing industry-specific knowledge Deliver timely, high-quality client services and maintain strong client relationships Assist in tax planning, quarterly estimates, and maintaining engagement files and work papers Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide alternative solutions Support practice development through networking, community involvement, and industry activities
Qualifications Needed • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required • Minimum 3 years of public accounting tax experience, including flow-through entity and individual returns • CPA license preferred (or CPA candidate encouraged) • Strong background in tax compliance, planning, and research • Experience with CCH Axcess and RIA Checkpoint preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to clients • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
