As a Security Officer - Unarmed Media Patrol - Full Time in Clarksville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the area using a company vehicle, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and communicating clearly with both team members and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns within the location. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving responsibilities, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
