Heavy Civil Estimator

Clarkson Construction Company seeks FT Heavy Civil Estimator (Kansas City, MO). Play crucial role in project plan & execution phase, focus on cost estim, bid proposal prep & initial stages of project mgmt for grading, paving & bridge constr projects. Reqs Bachs in Civil Engr, Construction Mgmt, or rel fld & 3 yrs exp in estimation within heavy civil constr industry, specif grading, paving, and/or bridge projects. Must have 3 yrs exp in: estimation software (e.g., Agtek Gradework, Highway, Underground&Materials, HCSS HeavyBid, and/or Bid2Win, Bluebeam Revu); Excel & Microsoft Office Suite; construction processes, materials & latest industry standards, recent DOT estimating exp. In lieu of a Bachs degree & 3 yrs exp, will accept Master in Civil Engr, Construction Mgmg or rel fld & 1 yr exp as stated above. Up to 50% dom travel to unanticipated project sites w/300m radius of Kansas City Metro Area. Must have legal authority to work in US. EEOE. Resume to: T.
