We are seeking a dedicated Tool & Die Maker for a 1st shift position, responsible for planning, laying out, and performing all bench and machine operations necessary to build, service, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures. You will utilize surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, measuring tools, and forklifts when necessary in a stamping and roll forming environment with dies weighing up to 8,000 pounds. Responsibilities
Plan and lay out bench and machine operations for tool, die, and fixture maintenance. Build, service, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures. Utilize surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, belt sanders, saws, hoists, clamps, and measuring tools. Operate forklifts when necessary. Work with dies weighing up to 8,000 pounds. Essential Skills
4+ years of Tool & Die Maker experience. Ability to layout, build, service, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures. CNC Mill Machining Experience. Willingness to continue learning. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman Card. Roll Forming Experience. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, Indiana. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
