Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Technician Final Assembly to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The Technician Final Assembly is responsible for building and/or installing component parts on heads and/or boilers in preparation for test firing. Job Location: Thomasville, GA Basic Function: Purpose of this position is to build and/or install component parts on heads and/or boilers in preparation for test firing. Essential Duties: Assemble burner drawers and air compressors. Cut pipe nipples for " to 4" pipe and use the tube bending machine for all applications. Mount the components on the CB, CBE, CBLE, CBW, CBX and CEW front heads including control panel, motor base, electrical components and conduit, air hood and all oil and gas piping. Must be able to read prints and wire all applications in the head shop, including motors and all 24, 110, 208, 230, 460 and 575 voltage components. Mount all components in E-box and control panels and completely wire all components by using the E.M.S. and wiring diagram. Able to wire all CB boilers and components; including but not limited to front head to junction or E-box, from E-box to pressure control air compressor, from E-box to oil pumps, gas trains and aquastats. Also mount and wire all sizes of disconnects. Other Duties: Perform any other job duties as directed by the Cell Leader or Foreman. Education Required: High school education or GED equivalent preferred. Must have good reading, writing and math skills. Technical training as an industrial electrician preferred. Experience Preferred: One (1) year of electrical and/or plumbing/piping experience in related manufacturing environment. Decision-Making Responsibilities: Entry level position that requires very limited decision-making. All questions should be directed to trainer, Cell Leader or Foreman. Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. chest high on a regular basis. Must be able to access all areas of the plant both inside and outside. Will be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, welding fumes, natural gas, fuel oils, and machine lubricants and/or oils. Must be able and willing to work with and properly use all necessary and/or required personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes and fall protection.
