Assembly Operator On The Graveyard Shift
As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and processing medical device components and products. You will utilize light tools and equipment according to instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures. Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble medical device components. Process medical products according to specifications. Operate light tools and equipment based on drawings and procedures. Utilize measurement tools and devices as required by the process. Demonstrate good manual dexterity in assembly tasks. Essential Skills
Production and assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with small part assembly. Fluent in speaking and reading English. Comfortable working on a production floor and light gowning. Comfortable handling chemicals. Ability to lift 10-15lbs repetitively. Experience with machine operating and hand tools. Familiarity with cleanroom and assembly line operations. Ability to work with a microscope for inspection tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience utilizing measurement tools and devices. Good manual dexterity. Work Environment
The work environment consists of three main areas within a manufacturing setting: the clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, the laser area with machines that cut and shape small nitinol components, and the materials area for handling raw materials which is more heavy and dirty. The position involves working a graveyard shift from 9:45pm to 6:15am with a combination of shifts from Sunday to Thursday and Tuesday to Saturday. The role requires 4 hours of microscope inspection. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.15/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
