Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort is looking for a General Mechanic to join their Engineering team! This stunning 374 room hotel is located three miles from Las Olas Boulevard, offers a full-service spa, multiple dining options, and also boasts an outdoor pool and private cabanas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of HVAC/Refrigeration experience, combined with general knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting and has the ability to work the ever-changing schedule of hospitality. Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour. Shift Pattern: This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work varying shifts across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The Benefits

As a General Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotels equipment and machinery in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Maintain, monitor, repair, and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention What are we looking for?
