Position: Senior Strategic Project Lead

Type: Full-time Position

Compensation: $150K–$170K per year

About the Role

One of our clients, a fast-growing AI company, is seeking a Senior Strategic Project Lead (SSPL) to take charge of large-scale projects, generate substantial revenue, and cultivate strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service. In this role, you will report directly to the President or Head of Operations and play a significant part in shaping the company’s long-term growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate $10M+ in revenue by executing high-value projects for AI labs and tech companies.
• Source, vet, and manage the performance of hundreds of domain experts across disciplines such as software engineering , medicine , and law .
• Foster strong relationships with researchers and clients at leading AI labs and tech companies, identifying expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to execute strategies, meet client objectives, and drive process optimizations .
• Work with the Engineering & Machine Learning teams to improve and evolve the Mercor platform .

What Are We Looking For?

• 4-8+ years of experience in consulting , finance , startups , or related fields. MBA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills .
• Proven experience working with customers and driving large-scale project success.
• Base Salary: $150K–$170K per year
• Generous Equity Grant vested over 4 years
• $20K relocation bonus (if moving to the Bay Area)
• $10K housing bonus (if living within 0.5 miles of our office)
• $1K monthly stipend for meals
