Why This Role Matters

The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future, serving as a key strategic partner to leadership and an advisor to a new investor/ownership group. This role is ideal for an experienced finance executive eager to help scale an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented business and instill the financial rigor needed to support investors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support growth goals.
  • Oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Partner with leadership and investors on capital structure, financing, and long-term strategy.
  • Drive implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes (including ERP-NetSuite).
  • Provide financial insight to support decision-making across operations, supply chain, and commercial initiatives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including CFO or VP Finance roles.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or project-based services environment preferred.
  • Strong track record in scaling businesses in partnership with private equity or growth investors.
  • ERP system implementation and optimization experience highly desirable (NetSuite preferred).
  • Hands-on, execution-focused leader with the ability to think strategically and roll up sleeves.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary and bonus structure - around $175K-225K base plus bonus.
  • Potential for long-term incentive / equity participation.
