- Drive investment cases and scenario planning for emerging technologies, hardware production, and global deployment efforts.
- Lead asset management modeling, inventory tracking, and unit economics across multiple regions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders—including Operations and GTM teams to align financial resources with short- and long-term objectives.
- Partner with HR, People Ops, and Recruiting to support headcount planning, hiring prioritization, and capacity modeling.
- Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs that track engineering efficiency, device performance, product delivery, and overall financial health.
- Lead forecasting and variance analysis for R&D, product, engineering and hardware spend, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare high-impact materials for executives and board-level reporting with clear narratives around investment strategy, operational performance, and business impact.
- Establish scalable financial processes that support rapid growth, operational maturity, and global expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a strong plus.
- 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3 years directly supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or hardware/device functions.
- Strong financial modeling expertise with the ability to translate complex technical and operational plans into actionable financial insights.
- Deep understanding of R&D cost structures, software/hardware development lifecycles, and global manufacturing economics.
- Proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams to influence strategic and operational decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Suite; strong experience with planning tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
