A regional public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team in Boston, MA. The role will focus on preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, while collaborating with clients and internal teams on tax planning strategies and compliance matters.

This role offers great work-life balance, and is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering up to $110K base and a hybrid schedule (4 days/week in-office).

Responsibilities:

Prepare complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

Review individual tax returns prepared by staff and provide constructive feedback

Conduct technical tax research and collaborate on planning strategies for clients

Draft and review responses to federal, state, and local tax notices

Supervise and mentor junior tax staff; delegate tasks and provide guidance

Act as the main point of contact for smaller engagements and client communication

Qualifications:

2–4 years of public accounting experience with increasing tax responsibilities

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation (CPA preferred but not required)

Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong time management and organizational skills

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
