Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking a Controls Engineer Ignition & PLC to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Engineer Ignition & PLC
Location: Seattle, WA
What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programming for various automation projects.
• Utilize Ignition SCADA for monitoring and control of systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems.
• Stay updated with industry standards and best practices, particularly those from Amazon and Tesla.
  

What's Needed?

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming.
• Proficiency in Ignition SCADA and multiple PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi).
• Experience with software programming languages is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
