Associate Attorney – Plaintiff-Side Employment Litigator

Base Salary: $130,000–$200,000 annually (DOE) + Bonus

Position Summary: Are you a passionate litigator ready to make a real impact? We are seeking a dynamic Associate Attorney with a desire to gain hands-on, substantive experience from day one. This is not a document-review role; this is your opportunity to litigate, take depositions, and make regular courtroom appearances as you manage your own docket from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your own docket of employment law cases from inception through trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial briefs.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear in court to argue motions and advocate for clients.
• Engage with clients and help shape case strategy.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
• Assist in trial preparation and serve as second chair where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 1–5 years of litigation experience (employment law preferred).
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines.
• A strong desire to grow as a trial lawyer and litigator.
• Experience with trial or trial-prep is a significant plus.

What We Offer:

• Base Salary: $130,000–$200,000 annually (DOE).
• Performance-Based Commission: Earn up to 7.50% commission.
