Adecco is partnering with a local client in Ripon, WI to find an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist. 1st Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm Pay: $23 - $30 (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Set Up and Operate Haas CNC Machines: Prepare and operate CNC machines, including Haas SL 20 lathes,VF2 and VF# mills, to manufacture parts according to specifications. Interpret Technical Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machine settings and tooling requirements. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet quality standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machine operation or programming, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including lubrication, tool changes, and cleaning to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities. Required Skills and Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or an associate degree in machine tool technology or a related field is preferred. Experience: Proven experience as a CNC machinist, 1-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and understanding of CAD/CAM software; ability to program CNC machines. Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure precision in machining processes and quality control.
