Our client, a dynamic manufacturing company, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be part of the Metal Shop supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Manual MachinistLocation: Philadelphia, PAPay Range: $22-$26/hour (based on experience)Shift: 1st shiftWhat's the Job? Set up and operate manual mills and lathes independently. Select and set up appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job. Machine parts to precise specifications using technical drawings and blueprints. Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Communicate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and deadlines.What's Needed? At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating manual mills and lathes. Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills. Familiarity with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
