We are seeking an RN who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Mother/Baby unit.- Maintain patient ratios of 6-8:1 to ensure personalized attention.- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.- Perform critical procedures, including circumcisions, as required.- Adhere to unit policies and guidelines to maintain a safe and supportive environment. Qualifications: Required Skills: - Must possess valid BLS and NRP certifications.- Previous experience in Mother/Baby nursing is a must; candidates without this experience will not be considered. Preferred Skills: - Gyn experience is a plus and will be prioritized in the hiring process. Team Structure: - The night shift staff includes 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 5-7 Registered Nurses (RNs), and 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT). Work Environment: - Located on the 2nd floor of the South Tower, our unit uses advanced equipment (EMR CPN, Meditech) to streamline patient care.- Staff members are expected to follow a dress code of royal blue scrubs, with no hoodies allowed. Schedule Requirements: - Flexibility for 3 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per month.- 30-minute lunch breaks are provided, and nurses are required to clock out during this time.
