Job Responsibilities
- Sushi Preparation : Prepare exquisite dishes, including sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty sushi creations, with emphasis on premium quality and aesthetics.
- Ingredient Management : Handle seafood, rice, vegetables, and other ingredients with precision, ensuring freshness and safety.
- Food Quality & Safety : Maintain meticulous hygiene and food safety standards throughout the preparation process.
- Knife Skills & Presentation : Exhibit exceptional proficiency in cutting techniques and plating visually stunning dishes.
- Station Maintenance : Keep workstations, tools, and the kitchen spotless and organized to enable seamless operations.
- Collaboration : Work efficiently with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
- Proven expertise in sushi rolling, nigiri, sashimi, and/or specialty sushi dishes.
- Strong understanding of ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience in high-end sushi restaurants is strongly preferred .
- Flexible schedule to accommodate shifts, weekends, and holidays.
