MARKETING COORDINATOR | PALISOCIETY
POSITION PROFILE
We are looking for an organizational hero and innate team player to join Palisociety's marketing dream team as Marketing Coordinator. As part of Palisociety's corporate team, you'll be tasked with supporting the marketing, social media, and sales teams with any and all initiatives across the entire portfolio. From making sure every piece of collateral, website, and online listing is accurate, to coordinating between multiple departments, facilitating influencer stays, and attending front desk meetings, the right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and knows that task variety is the spice of work life!
This hybrid role requires the candidate to work on-site from various Los Angeles-based hotels, attend after-work events and special activations, and travel to additional properties as needed. Top-notch organizational, time management, and communication skills are required to succeed in this position.

THE TASK AT HAND:
- Working side-by-side with our Marketing Manager and Managing Director of Marketing to ensure all marketing touchpoints are accurate and on brand.
- Learning the ins and outs of the Palisociety brands and every hotel and restaurant.
- Continually test, review, and update sales brochures, fact sheets, guest directories, Neighborhood Guides, voice agent reservations systems, transactional emails, and all guest-facing assets.
- Conduct regular audits by reviewing hotel and restaurant websites, TripAdvisor, Google, Apple Maps, OTAs, Yelp, sales-oriented listings, etc. to ensure the accuracy of copy and information, and ensure everything is in line with brand standards.
- Coordinate with the food and beverage team on special promotions, email marketing needs, and helping with social media content when applicable.
- Submit graphics requests to our internal design department on a regular basis under the guidance of our Marketing Manager.
- Continually review, update, and organize the Sales & Marketing Teams channel and Sales Collateral websites, so all team members have access to the most up-to-date collateral.
- Communicate with the sales team, ensure they have all the assets required to properly sell, and help with submitting their graphic needs in a timely manner.
- Assist the sales team with the necessary assets to properly maintain on Consortias, event listings, and sales-related channels.
- Research marketing-related collateral, social media trends, and analyze competitive set hotels and restaurants.
- Coordinate with our creative team and CRM partner to ensure all email marketing is in line with design and branding standards.
- Update transactional emails and ongoing marketing emails/bounceback campaigns on a regular basis
- Maintain our email database by updating new lists and cleansing data as needed
- Assist the Marketing Manager and Managing Director of Marketing with training sessions for reservation agents and perform practice calls emails ongoing for quality control and guest satisfaction.
- Take meticulous notes during key internal meetings and distribute them to additional team members as needed.
- Make test calls, send text messages, and book online reservations to help with training and maintaining brand talking points.
- Work as a collaborative and helpful conduit between corporate departments and on-site hotel and restaurant teams to ensure communication is strong and steady!
- Coordinate between the revenue team, sales team, and Managing Director of Marketing & Marketing Manager to help with the building of dynamic direct offers and maintain our email marketing calendar.
- Coordinate our email marketing schedule for individual properties, restaurants, and portfolio-wide offers.
- Maintain constant communication with other operational departments to ensure a flow of information to all departments on all activations via social media, marketing, and special offers.
- Work with the Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager on maintaining influencer databases and assist with booking stays, restaurant visits, and alerting on-site teams for press and content creator stays.
- Assist Marketing Manager in follow-ups for influencer content and compiling both organic and trade content for social reports.
- Assist the Social Media team with on-site photoshoots and capturing content during special restaurant events and activations as needed.
- Assist with the planning and execution of media events, programming, and pop-up experiences.
- Maintain and manage programming calendars, distribute them internally, and coordinate with hotel teams to ensure all departments are aware of activities and all necessary assets are gathered for promotion and execution.
- Communicate and help with logistics and updating teams as needed for welcome amenity programs, sponsorships, collaborations, offering changes, and partnerships.
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing or communications in the hospitality industry
- Superior time management and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- A passion for minding every little detail and keeping projects organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to travel interstate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ideal candidate must possess ability to work both independently and as part of a team
