Travel RN – Pediatric CVOR (Operating Room) Unit: OR / CST 702 – Pediatric Operating Room Shift: 4x10-Hour Days | Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-call required Start: (Insert Start Date) Contract Length: 13 weeks EMR: Meditech Unit Overview: Unit Type: Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Beds: 8 ORs Staff: ~25 team members including Charge RNs, RNs, CSTs, Anesthesia Night Shift: On-call team coverage Patient Ratio: 1:1 Equipment: Wide variety, including Belmont rapid infuser Top Reasons to Choose This Assignment: Work alongside experienced service line leaders and a strong support team Exposure to a wide range of pediatric and cardiovascular surgical procedures Located in Denver, Colorado – one of the most desirable travel nurse destinations Great teamwork environment with collaborative and engaged staff Opportunity to contribute to a high-performing CVOR team in a pediatric setting Must-Have Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience Strong scrub/circulating skills across multiple service lines Previous CVOR/Cardiac OR experience Flexibility with on-call rotation Ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team Preferred Experience (Highly Competitive): Pediatric OR experience Cardiovascular/thoracic surgical experience in pediatric population Familiarity with orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastics, and cardiac procedures Ideal Personality Fit: Team-oriented with strong communication skills Adaptable, dependable, and eager to contribute to unit success Positive attitude and collaborative mindset This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OR nurse to join a top-tier team in a high-acuity, fast-paced pediatric CVOR setting.
