We are looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate data entry to ensure financial records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and organize accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions.
  • Maintain proper filing systems by scanning and organizing financial documents.
  • Assist in preparing flowcharts and invoices for expense allocation.
  • Update and manage budgets within Excel spreadsheets.
  • Match supporting documentation to financial statements for review.
  • Collaborate with the accountant to support daily operations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles, including fund accounting practices.
  • Contribute to maintaining a dependable and consistent work schedule.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in financial data.
    • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
    • Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent schedule.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Experience with filing systems, scanning, and document management.
    • Dependability and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines effectively.
