Kalco Lighting is a Las Vegas-based company with a global footprint, including manufacturing facilities in China and the Philippines. We design, manufacture, and sell decorative lighting products to retail stores, interior designers, and eCommerce retailers under the Kalco Lighting and Allegri Crystal brands ( We also produce and sell custom lighting for high-end residential and hospitality projects worldwide.
We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our operations by processing customer payments, communicating with customers and sales representatives, analyzing AR Aging and uncollectible reports, and making accurate entries in the general ledger. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively with others.
Job Responsibilities :
- Receiving and processing credit card, check, and ACH payments accurately and promptly
- Recording and applying payments to customer invoices and sales orders based on remittances
- Generating and sending invoices, statements, and payment requests, including follow-ups
- Coordinating with customer service and sales teams regarding billing and payments
- Running and analyzing AR Aging reports to follow up on outstanding payments and advising management on collectability
- Creating customer accounts and requesting necessary documentation
- Researching payment history and providing trade references as needed
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Investigating previous payments and remittance applications to ensure account accuracy
- Documenting communication and collection efforts thoroughly
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of two years experience in accounting or a related field
- Experience with Sage products is highly advantageous
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask, collaborate across departments, and meet deadlines
- Critical thinking skills and initiative to improve processes
Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. A good attendance record is essential.
