Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric Echocardiography Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) Start Date: September 29, 2025 End Date: December 27, 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Position Overview: This role involves performing a range of cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and providing assistance with transesophageal echocardiography. The position also includes responsibilities such as preparing preliminary interpretation reports, facilitating billing processes, transmitting studies, and providing coverage at satellite sites as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced knowledge and proficiency in pediatric echocardiography, with a strong background in cardiac anatomy and sonographic techniques. Key Responsibilities: Perform echocardiograms in alignment with lab standards while maintaining daily productivity expectations. Respond promptly to emergent imaging requests and follow established workflows for reporting and billing. Deliver excellent, age-appropriate patient care in a clean, safe, and confidential environment in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in departmental meetings, research initiatives, quality assurance programs, and interdepartmental projects. Support the education and training of students, fellows, and new staff members. Adhere to hospital-wide and departmental policies and procedures, including cost-control standards. May be required to travel to affiliated clinical sites. Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and system instrumentation Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology Proficient in transthoracic echocardiography techniques Skilled in using ultrasound equipment and digital reporting systems Willingness and ability to travel to multiple work locations Participation in academic or clinical research is a plus Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric echocardiography (5 years preferred) Certifications (to be obtained within 12 months of start date): RDCS-PE (Pediatric Echocardiography) – ARDMS OR RDCS-AE (Adult Echocardiography) – ARDMS OR RCS – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR RCCS – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
