Part Time Bookkeeper

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join our client in Portland, Oregon. In this contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth operations within a healthcare organization. The position requires a reliable individual with strong bookkeeping skills and flexibility to work onsite, including Fridays.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable processes, including handling a monthly volume of approximately 150 invoices.
  • Oversee accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate tracking of patient revenue and grant funding.
  • Process payroll for over 100 employees, utilizing ADP systems.
  • Reconcile bank transactions to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Sort and organize incoming mail and monitor departmental inboxes for requests.
  • Scan and upload invoices to maintain organized and accessible records.
  • Record and manage cash receipts in compliance with company standards.
  • Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth departmental workflows.
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping.
    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
    • Experience with bank reconciliations and cash receipts.
    • Familiarity with ADP payroll systems and handling payroll for large teams.
    • Prior experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work onsite in Portland, Oregon, with flexible scheduling and mandatory Fridays.
