Bookkeeper (Oil & Gas)
Location: Central Oklahoma City, OK
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Compensation: Up to $60,000 annually (based on experience)
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with a strong accounting background to join our team in Central OKC. This role is ideal for a professional who is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment within the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and monthly financial reports.
- Track and reconcile revenue, expenses, and vendor accounts.
- Support accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required; oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Pivoten Oil and gas software is a PLUS.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and standard accounting practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
