The Opportunity
Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Irvine. What You'll Do
- Managing month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Preparing consolidated financial results and supporting quarterly and annual reporting.
- Reviewing and monitoring high volumes of transactions across multiple business lines.
- Partnering with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Overseeing invoice coding and approvals within an automated A/P workflow system.
- Handling CAM reconciliations and revenue share statements.
- Supporting lease accounting in line with ASC 842 standards and maintaining the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP.
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP; CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Background in public accounting or industries such as real estate, telecommunications, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with JD Edwards, CoStar, or Tungsten is a bonus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.
