Social Vocational Services is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who assists in completing month-end and year-end closes, reconciles general ledger accounts and bank statements, prepares and distributes various financial and management reports and assists in various independent year-end audits and CPA tax return preparation.Other job duties include:

• Manage the entry and reconciliation of all Fixed Assets, including but not limited to periodic inventory of assets.
• Manage the monthly entry of credit card transactions.
• Provide schedules for year-end audits, ad-hoc audits and tax return preparations.
• Manage the annual Workers Compensation audit by providing records, supporting schedules and written communication as needed.
• Manage the provision of ITR information i.e., Form 990/1099-MISC/1099-INT/1099-NEC

If youre the right person for this opportunity, you will have five years of accounting experience in a busy work environment, are able to handle multiple priorities and have the ability to problem solve. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field is required.

This full-time, M-F position is based in our Torrance corporate office. Salary is $70,000/year. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 403(b).
