A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support K-12 students in an educational setting. This position offers a contract for the current school year and is located in Brownsville, TX. Candidates who are local and able to work on-site may have flexible scheduling options, including part-time hours, to best meet the needs of students.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive student support.Manage caseload efficiently, ensuring no more than 20 students are supported to maintain quality service.Use adaptive tools and technologies to enhance learning accessibility for visually impaired students.Qualifications:Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.Experience working with students who have visual impairments in a K-12 setting.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility to adapt instructional methods to individual learning needs.Location: Brownsville, TXThis contract position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences.
