Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau - expires 8/22 Job Title: Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN - Aspirus Wausau Hospital Cardiac Telemetry Unit Wausau, WI ** Auto Offer Unit** Contract Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: 10/6 - Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 - Shift Requirements: 12 hours Days 0700-1930 Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed.. On Call/Call Back Requirements: none - Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday - Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. **Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire.** Minimum Experience: MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) & 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required. Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips. *Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed * Charting- 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required - Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass. Patient ratio typically 1:4 - Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely - Scrub Colors: any color - Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
