Role Summary
Own the full project lifecycle from pre-sales through contract award and delivery. You’ll translate customer requirements into winning proposals, structure SOWs and BoMs, and then lead cross-functional execution to deliver integrated solutions spanning electronics, networking, cybersecurity, and sensor systems. Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solutioning Partner with Sales/BD to qualify opportunities and shape win strategies. Lead requirements discovery, site surveys, and stakeholder workshops. Architect feasible solutions; develop SOWs, BOMs, project plans, and delivery approaches. Prepare cost models and pricing; respond to RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) with high-quality proposals. Deliver customer demos/PoCs; present technical and commercial value propositions. Commercial & Contracting Support negotiations on scope, deliverables, milestones, payment terms, and acceptance criteria. Coordinate internal approvals (risk, finance, legal) and finalize contracts/LoAs/subcontracts. Manage change requests, variations, and contract risks throughout delivery. Project Delivery & Governance Plan and run projects (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), including schedule, resources, and budget. Lead vendors/partners and internal teams (engineering, supply chain, QA, security). Oversee system design, integration, and testing: FAT/SAT, UAT, and go-live/commissioning. Establish and track RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies); drive mitigation actions. Ensure compliance with security and safety policies, data protection, and relevant standards. Produce clear status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings. Handover to operations/support with documentation, training, and warranty plans. Technical Depth (hands-on/oversight) Electronics & Sensors: Understanding of sensor types (e.g., video, RF, environmental), edge devices, power, and interfacing (SPI/I2C/UART, GPIO, PoE). Networking: L2/L3 fundamentals, VLANs, routing, QoS, VPNs; exposure to SDN and secure remote access. Cybersecurity: Secure-by-design principles, hardening, identity/access control, logging/SIEM, vulnerability management; awareness of standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF), and secure deployment practices for OT/IoT. Systems Integration: Protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT/AMQP, ONVIF, Modbus), API/SDK integration, and cloud/on-prem architectures. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). Diploma holders with good track records are acceptable. 5–10 years’ experience in project management or systems engineering delivering multi-disciplinary solutions. Demonstrated pre-sales experience: RFx responses, solution design, pricing, and customer presentations. Strong vendor/subcontractor management and customer-facing communication skills. Certifications (nice to have) Project: PMP / PRINCE2 / AgilePM / ScrumMaster. Networking/Security: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP/CISM (or equivalent), OT/IoT security (e.g., GICSP). Cloud or data platforms relevant to IoT/analytics. Key Competencies
