Expected salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, along with a full benefits package including bonus and 401(k).
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position supports the IT PMO and IT Engineering Projects.
Manage or support the management of IT projects involving cross-functional teams and multiple IT disciplines, including contract resources. Responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, and risks for projects typically ranging from $50K to $5 million. Lead or support project teams through business case development, funding approval, initiation, execution, and closeout, following IT Management and PMI standards. May require extended hours, including 24/7 coverage during storms or emergencies. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead or support overall project and program performance, ensuring project costs, schedule, scope, and risks are managed effectively. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure effective communication. Build and maintain good working relationships with team members, managers, and external providers. Communicate project status and issues to sponsors and stakeholders, including executive presentations. Coach and lead team members, clarifying responsibilities and ensuring task completion. Assist in resource identification and acquisition for projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, with 2-5 years of project management experience. Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster cultural change. Ability to work independently and as a team leader, managing conflicting priorities. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Experience in process improvement, technology, and performance enhancement. Excellent judgment and time management skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with project management tools such as ServiceNow, Oracle OAS, PowerBI, Planner, Power Automate, ADO. Knowledge of IT PMO and IT Engineering project standards and methodologies. Experience in specific functional areas like Real-Time Systems, Finance, Supply, Nuclear, Utility, or Retail sectors. Certifications such as CAPM or PMP. Proven ability to manage projects effectively. Understanding of budgeting, costing, and performance metrics. Constellation is an equal opportunity employer.
