Senior Vice President - Group Head,Director of Community Development at First Eagle Bank
JOB DESCRIPTION Summary:
Responsible for developing new business, underwriting, structuring and closing of commercial loans, as well as maintaining and servicing a commercial loan portfolio.Represent the bank in its market area through active participation in community affairs. Duties and Responsibilities: Business Development ·Responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of commercial real estate clients. ·Strengthen customer relationships by promoting products and services as appropriate to identify and fulfill customer needs. ·Responsible for new business development through referral sources and cold calling efforts. ·Responsible for developing new prospects to grow the portfolio.This will entail attending outside networking events and joining referral networking groups. ·Network with a variety of CRE COI’s, investors and attorneys to establish a referral base. ·Outside presentations to property managers and mortgage brokers. ·Grow the deposit portfolio along with the loan portfolio.Always cross selling the deposit accounts along with the loan products. ·Experience with maintaining and managing a portfolio, with ability to build relationships with existing and prospective customers focusing on revenue growth, fee income, deposits and cross-selling services. ·Prepare and present deal terms to clients in timely and accurate manner. ·Oversee the review and underwriting of credit requests internally while making recommendations to senior management. ·Maintain current financials of all relationships over $500,000. ·Review and sign off on monthly exception and account receivable reports. ·Assist with preparing files for audits. ·Provide leadership in the development of less experienced commercial real estate lenders and portfolio managers. Management Meetings ·Participate in bi-weekly loan committee discussions of loan reviews and lending issues. ·Participate and present at annual officer meeting and quarterly staff meeting. ·Actively participate and present at loan meetings. Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or real estate related field. ·Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. ·Knowledge of financial accounting. ·Strong interpersonal skills.
