About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Technology Architect with over 10 years of expertise in software development and a strong background in supply chain planning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with supply chain modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Planning, along with at least 2 years of implementation experience on the o9 platform.
This role involves owning the solution architecture, leading design efforts, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency. The position is hybrid, based in the United States, with no travel required, and operates during day shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
Own the solution architecture and product from a technical perspective. Translate business requirements into clear and actionable solution specifications. Plan and design the structure of technology solutions. Communicate system requirements to development teams. Evaluate and recommend appropriate software, hardware, and integration methods. Oversee assigned programs, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise. Ensure delivery of agreed-upon architecture and infrastructure. Address technical concerns, ideas, and suggestions. Monitor systems to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.
Work Model
Hybrid – U.S.-based only. Work arrangements are accurate as of the posting date and may vary based on project needs and client requirements. We will always communicate expectations clearly.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in software development with strong hands-on expertise. 2+ years of experience implementing solutions on the o9 platform. Proficiency in ETL tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory. 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, including: Demand Planning Supply Planning Inventory Planning Distribution Planning Procurement Planning S&OP Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL processes. Solid understanding of data modeling and data integration. Experience with cloud platforms and APIs is a plus. Familiarity with Databricks, Airflow, Hive, Hadoop is a plus. o9 certifications in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Architecture Overview are preferred.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $129,000 – $152,000, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
