Summary
Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Digital Pharmacy team, supporting patient-facing digital products such as websites, apps, text messaging, email, and push notifications. This role will focus more on product SDLC than technical SDLC, partnering with engineering, design, product management, and pharmacy business stakeholders to deliver seamless digital experiences. The analyst will ensure patients can self-serve for refills, track prescription status, set preferences, and access other digital functions that enhance the overall pharmacy experience. What You Will Be Accountable For
Analyze user requirements, workflows, and business problems to translate into clear and actionable requirements for engineering teams. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to align digital solutions with business and patient needs. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to guide system implementation decisions. Run and support Agile ceremonies including Scrum and refinement sessions; step in to lead when work falls under assigned scope. Perform requirements gathering, validation, UAT, and functional testing to ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables. Collaborate with design teams to integrate user-centered design and marketing/UX perspectives into requirements. Advise management on system principles, updates, and recommendations for improving workflows. Conduct data analysis as needed (e.g., working with exports from engineering) to support decision-making. Support multiple engineering pods, with accountability for specific projects assigned by product managers. Communicate effectively across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment and clarity in all deliverables. Provide mentorship and constructive feedback where appropriate, supporting collaboration across the team.
What Qualifications You Need
Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 35+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including direct involvement in product SDLC and Agile practices. Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and digital product delivery. Experience gathering requirements, running Scrum ceremonies, and supporting engineering pods in an Agile environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to ask leading questions and uncover unknowns. Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and ability to manage work independently. Ability to translate technical details into business requirements and vice versa. Analytical mindset with the ability to dive into data, identify trends, and support decision-making. Familiarity with marketing/UX concepts and their application to digital products (preferred). Knowledge of software tools such as SQL, Java, or Visual Basic a plus. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
