Job Summary The Litigation Docket Manager oversees the firm’s docket operations, ensuring accurate and timely management of all litigation deadlines, court dates, and case milestones. This leadership role involves supervising docket staff, developing and implementing docket procedures, and collaborating with attorneys and firm leadership to mitigate risk and maintain compliance with court and agency rules. Job Responsibilities The Litigation Docket Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the litigation docket team, providing guidance and training. Establish and maintain docketing policies, procedures and best practices. Ensure compliance with court rules, local procedures, and firm policies regarding docketing. Monitor and review the entry of litigation deadlines, court dates and related events into the firm’s docketing software. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of docket data and reports distributed to attorneys and staff. Respond promptly and professionally to information requests from attorneys and professional staff regarding docketed dates, agency and court rules and procedures. Stay current with changes in court rules and procedures, updating processes as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for litigation docketing issues and escalation. Assist with development of department policies and procedures and innovation related projects. Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position. Qualifications

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Extensive docketing and case management experience in a law firm docket department required. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in utilizing docketing software (i.e. eDockets, CompuLaw, CourtAlert) for calendaring and reporting. Extensive knowledge of federal and state court rules, procedures, e-filing procedures and technologies. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications. Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure compliance under tight deadlines. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel for business as needed. Education The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. Equivalent training and legal experience may substitute for education. Experience The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive docketing and case management experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to the position were attained. Demonstrated expertise in court rules, procedures, and docketing software. Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is strongly preferred. Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $123,000-$162,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
