**Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Rotating Shifts**
**Position Description:** We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves rotating 8-hour shifts, either from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM or 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, with the added responsibility of up to 3 on-call shifts each week, including weekend rotations. The ideal candidate will possess both scrub and circulate experience, with a strong background in vascular and neuro surgery, as well as proficiency in da Vinci robotics.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting. - Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols. - Precept and mentor new hires and nursing orientees. - Participate in call rotations as scheduled, with a maximum of 3 call shifts during weekdays and up to 3 weekends over a 6-week scheduling cycle. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
**Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing with specialized skills in vascular and neuro procedures. - Proficiency with da Vinci robotic systems required. - Current Nurse License in Virginia or a Compact License. - BLS certification. - Familiarity with Cerner is preferred. - All requests for time off (RTO) should be included at the time of application.
**Orientation & Start Dates:** - Orientation sessions occur bi-weekly on Mondays. - Start dates are available for candidates beginning on September 8 and September 22.
**Floating Requirements:** - Floating to other units is NOT required for this position.
**Guarantees:** - Potential contract duration of 56 weeks with guaranteed hours.
