Job Description About the Role As a Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial standards aligned with store format, location, and global & regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, creating an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit. You will analyze sales data, follow up on results, and develop plans to optimize store performance and profits.

A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same. A typical day includes the following responsibilities: Customer Sales & Profit Manage the total omni customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial standards are met Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions Analyze sales and budget goals, creating plans to optimize results Ensure excellent personal customer service and team engagement in sales activities Promote the Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives Plan staff schedules according to sales forecasts and activities Maintain routines for fitting rooms and checkout processes Identify commercial opportunities and monitor competitor activity Oversee store maintenance and cost management Handle administrative routines for people and operations Fashion & Trend Awareness Stay updated on fashion trends, competitors, and influencers Ensure team provides product and fashion knowledge to customers Understand local customer base, competition, and fashion trends Team & Development Recruit, onboard, and develop store team members Conduct performance evaluations and succession planning Share knowledge and foster team growth Collaborate with area and store leadership teams Communicate effectively to motivate and inform staff Manage team scheduling and planning Ensure compliance with procedures, routines, and legal requirements Participate in onboarding, training, and development activities Retail Operations/Visual & Commercial Execution Maintain a clean and organized sales environment Ensure high-quality visual presentation and garment care Manage stock levels and provide input on allocation Support daily opening and closing routines Oversee the full garment cycle and fitting room routines Maintain in-store tech services and tools Ensure consistent pricing signage following guidelines Keep BOH areas organized and compliant Qualifications Strong leadership skills with responsibility for others Effective in team coaching and development Ambitious, communicative, and analytical Relevant leadership and retail management experience Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
