Project Controls Risk Analyst

X-energy This role is responsible for providing project controls support to program and project leadership in the area of risk management. Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities Provide project controls support to project teams. Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of risk management plans, processes, procedures and guidelines. Aid in maintaining tools for performing risk identification, evaluation, trigger events, handling, reporting, monitoring and controlling actions. Assist and guide staff in the identification, communication, measurement, and management of enterprise-level and project-specific risks. Contribute to identifying and analyzing overlapping project risks with multiple teams or stakeholders. Support program/project leadership in collecting progress and performance updates and updating schedules to reflect actual progress and changes. Track and monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts for assigned program/projects. Prepare cost reports and financial analyses. Create and distribute project status reports and performance dashboards to program/project leadership. Support the development of project metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track progress and performance. Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Lead the execution the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and some latitude for independent judgment. Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document. Job Profile Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in management, business, project management, or related field is required. Typically, ten plus years’ experience in project management or related industry experience. Experience maintaining risk registers, preferred. Experience performing quantitative risk assessments, preferred. Basic understanding of engineering documents and derive quantities from them. Familiar with project scheduling software, preferred. Experience utilizing industry-known best practices in at least one of the areas below: Risk Management ,Project Performance Reporting Experience using project management software applications. Knowledge of several construction and project disciplines. Basic understanding of engineering documents and derive quantities from them. Basic software application skills (i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel). Travel Expectations:
