Project Architect

for our

Silicon Valley

studio. The Project Architect, working under the supervision of a Senior Job Captain, Architect, or Project Manager, provides design support primarily in project administration, design development, and contract documents. Key responsibilities include: Creates construction documents (CDs).

Reviews CDs for compliance with firm standards, mechanical, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements. May oversee all CD production and review for smaller projects. Coordinates with technical and design staff to resolve technical issues. Manages projects through the contract administration phase. Coordinates engineering consultants’ work

to ensure compliance and timely submission of documents. Supports field surveys

when necessary. Manages project budgets

during contract administration, ensuring adherence and reporting variances. Mentors junior and intermediate designers , overseeing tasks and providing feedback. Conducts client interviews

to determine technical requirements. Qualifications: Graduate of architecture or design school; equivalent experience may be considered. Architecture license required. 5+ years of experience in corporate interior design projects. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of design principles and standards. Proficiency in documentation and field observation skills. Advanced interior architecture detailing skills. Working knowledge of CDs, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements. Understanding of space planning requirements. Experience with contract administration. Proficiency in MS Office, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and graphic communication skills. Ability to lead and manage junior staff effectively. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000, based on education, licensing, and experience
