The Ring Global Manufacturing Ops team is dedicated to pursuing overall manufacturing operation excellence across the entire lifecycle of products and manufacturing partnerships. We serve as a dedicated manufacturing platform, driving advanced manufacturing technologies and capabilities, highest operational efficiency, flexible supply chain, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining the best quality standards, supporting our business needs, and delivering the best value to customers. As a Site Technical Manager, you will be responsible for bringing new products from PVT to MP. You will manage high-complexity programs at large scale, from PVT to mass production. The STM is a key member of the project team and will be the main interface for worldwide engineering teams, operations teams, and our contract manufacturers. The STM will formalize and monitor the contractor’s end-to-end manufacturing processes and procedures, striving for consistent deployment and continuous productivity and quality improvements. The STM leads PVT builds on-site, ensuring proper production line setup and equipment verification before launch. During production, the STM identifies and resolves process, material, and quality issues to maintain smooth production. In ramp-up, the STM collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve yield, eliminate bottlenecks, and optimize capacity. During the MP stage, the STM enhances quality and efficiency through automation, lean techniques, and AI tools. Key job responsibilities
Ensure comprehensive line readiness before production builds, including setup, equipment and fixture validation, process verification, documentation preparation, and operator training Conduct thorough failure analysis for NTF and real failures to identify root causes and develop effective mitigation plans Work within Operations, Hardware, and Software engineering departments to implement and optimize manufacturing 1st pass yields and efficiency from PVT to MP Drive all factory-related operational issues related to SMT and final assembly processes during pre-production builds; ensure effective closure to enable operational success of the new product introduction cycle, and put products into mass production Drive production throughput by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks through data-driven cycle time analysis Lead automation initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in line efficiency and productivity Drive operational excellence by implementing lean methodology to eliminate waste and optimize production workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities Document and share lessons learned to improve line solutions and enhance Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices Assess MP phase engineering change impacts and risks to manufacturing processes, define manufacturing process validation requirements, and ensure the validated process is workable and reliable Investigate and introduce new manufacturing technologies and methodologies to enhance product quality and production efficiency About the team

10+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams (hardware, software, packaging) 10+ years of technical product or program management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management Good written and oral communication skills, fluent in English Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
