About the Team:
The Powder Bed Fusion manufacturing team develops and operates advanced additive manufacturing technologies. This team ensures infrastructure, materials, tools, and equipment are in place for rapid iteration and production. They were instrumental in manufacturing Aeon-1 for its first launch and are now pioneering technologies and approaches for Aeon-R.
About the Role:
Support installation, commissioning, and operation of additive post-processing manufacturing equipment.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and safety protocols for additive manufacturing and post-processing equipment.
Establish process flows to meet production rate and quality goals.
Promptly communicate roadblocks to team leaders and technicians to enable appropriate responses.
Track machine utilization and work to reduce planned and unplanned downtime.
Perform manufacturing ROI and cost trade analyses to optimize machine capital and process improvements.
Implement tooling and statistical process control to improve reliability, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
About You:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
5+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
Experience with powder bed fusion metal printing.
Experience in fast-paced, iterative design environments.
Experience with ISO AS9100/ISO9000, medical device manufacturing, or similar standards.
Nice to Have:
Six Sigma Green Belt, SPC, and DOE certifications.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices such as 5S or Six Sigma.

Hiring Range: $130,000—$166,000 USD
