We seek a Staff Product Designer to shape the future of mobile-first capture experiences for iOS and Android apps, integrating seamlessly with capture devices and desktop workflows. You will lead design efforts for our proprietary apps, serving both consumers and professionals like architects and real estate agents. This senior, hands-on role requires deep mobile expertise to create intuitive, scalable experiences, including designing for hardware integration and cross-platform consistency. Responsibilities

Lead mobile UX/UI design, leveraging platform guidelines and our product ecosystem. Develop solutions for both consumers and power users with advanced functionality. Guide mobile product strategy, anticipating future needs and setting standards. Contribute to desktop experience design for platform parity. Design workflows integrating Matterport hardware for efficient 3D scanning. Complexity & Problem Solving

Address complex interaction challenges across mobile, balancing usability and efficiency. Ensure hardware-software integration provides smooth capture experiences. Adapt design methodologies to diverse user contexts. Use independent judgment to align outcomes with product goals. Collaboration & Interaction

Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research teams. Coordinate with hardware teams for ecosystem alignment. Influence stakeholders through storytelling and prototypes. Mentor designers on mobile best practices. Collaborate externally and internally to maintain app excellence. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field; advanced degrees a plus. 8+ years of professional design experience. Proven mobile design expertise for consumer and professional products. Strong systems thinking and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications

4+ years focused on iOS and Android app design. Experience with hardware-software workflows. What’s In It For You?
