Essential Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture. NCIDQ certification required; WELL accreditation a plus. 8+ years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of higher education work. Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in healthcare environments is beneficial. Interest in business development is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and interior architecture. Experience in schematic design.
Work Environment
The position is based in the Baltimore office, focusing on higher education, with openness to healthcare projects as well. The team currently consists of five members on the interiors side and is expanding due to personnel changes. The firm offers a collaborative, creative, team-centered environment with opportunities for professional growth, including leadership roles and financial ownership. The firm is expected to grow significantly over the next decade, providing substantial opportunities for career advancement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $50.48/hr.
