The Senior Manager, Property Tax Implementation Services (“Senior Manager”) manages internal and external property tax software implementation projects to completion. Responsibilities include defining project scope, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. The Senior Manager prepares and reviews project deliverables in connection with client onboarding and data management. The Senior Manager oversees the functional and technical direction of projects, including on-time and on-budget delivery of project tasks, such as detailed requirements analysis, process design and configuration, deliverable preparation, and implementation of enterprise-class property tax management software and related processes. The Senior Manager also maintains and supports existing partnerships, client relationships, and provides technical leadership and guidance to his/her team and clients on project status and adherence to timeline and budget. The Senior Manager also assists with business development activities by preparing proposals, engagement agreements, and participating in calls and onsite meetings.

Works with team members to effectively prioritize, plan and organize the completion of project milestones and work. Create and manage detailed project plans, as appropriate, ensuring all major milestones are met, budgets are managed, interdependencies are aligned, and key stakeholders are satisfied. Manage to established project controls and proactively escalate and manage project issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism. Tracks progress and provides timely status reporting of milestones, dependencies, risks and issues to initiative owners, key stakeholders, and leadership. Value: Demonstrates superior knowledge of systems utilized Manages the preparation, review, and processing of all customer reporting requirements. Develops and delivers appropriate training for systems supported as necessary. Participates in system testing as needed. Suggests innovation and process improvement within the team and the business. Gives timely performance feedback to team members and addresses and escalates performance issues. Ensures workload is properly distributed among team members and holds team members accountable for completion of assigned projects. Participates actively in professional organizations. Ensures team compliance with Firm policies, practice guidelines, and standards. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6-10 years industry experience developing and planning technology-driven solutions, with a progressive record of successful delivery of multiple complex solutions, systems, or services. 4-10 years of leadership/management experience. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to identify and proactively solve problems, mobilizing project team members quickly to meet project objectives. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion Property Tax knowledge experience preferred. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Superior understanding of the various property tax systems and an understanding of project management applications such as Microsoft Planner, Asana, or ClickUp. Certificates and Licenses: Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) (preferred) Valid driver’s license required. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position directly supervises employees in the Property Tax Implementation Services team and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws. Work Environment: 100% remote work is available Standard indoor working environment. Long periods of sitting while working at computer. Occasional long periods of standing. Position requires regular interaction with employees and vendors both in person and via e-mail and telephone. Independent travel requirement: up to 25%. Equal Opportunity Employer: disability/veteran Compensation: For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $135,000.00 - $184,800.00 For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $124,000.00 - $169,400.00 For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $118,000.00 - $161,700.00 For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $124,000.00 - $169,400.00 For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $118,000.00 - $161,700.00 For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $135,000.00 - $184,800.00 For other New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $112,000.00 - $154,000.00 For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $124,000.00 - $169,400.00 **The Company makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
