UI/UX & Motion Designer

Lif3away is redefining how humans live, rent, and move globally. We are building the first AI-first infrastructure company for medium-to-long-term rentals, a system designed to govern how people relocate across borders, powered by intelligence, trust, and automation. We are currently finalizing our corporate structure and product foundation while preparing for the Seed round. Design and user experience are at the heart of this transformation, and we are seeking a UI/UX Motion Designer to bring our product interfaces to life with cinematic, immersive, and highly polished interactions. The Role We are looking for a UI/UX Motion Designer with a strong portfolio of cinematic product experiences, landing pages, and high-end motion design. You will work directly with the CEO and product team to design our landing page, core platform flows, and immersive interactions that communicate trust, intelligence, and simplicity. This is an equity-only role during the pre-funding phase. You must be aligned with our mission and ready to collaborate closely in a lean, fast-paced environment. Upon successful fundraising, this position may evolve into a full-time design leadership role. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver high-quality UI/UX interfaces for web and mobile • Create cinematic animations, transitions, and interactions at the level of Apple, SpaceX, or Genesis AI • Collaborate with product, engineering, and brand to ensure a cohesive visual and motion design language • Develop motion design guidelines that scale across the platform • Contribute to the evolution of Lif3away’s design system • Translate complex flows (ID verification, booking, AI-driven features) into intuitive, engaging experiences • Ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and performance across all touchpoints What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong focus on motion and cinematic interactions • Mastery of Figma, After Effects, Principle, Lottie, and prototyping tools • Proficiency with WebGL, Three.js, GSAP, or shader-based animations for immersive experiences • Ability to design both high-fidelity visuals and complex motion prototypes • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and modern UX practices • Collaborative mindset, able to thrive in a lean, high-trust startup environment • Excellent communication skills in English Nice to Have • Front-end familiarity with React/Next.js for design handoff and motion implementation • Motion design for brand storytelling and product marketing • Prior experience in early-stage startups Why Join Lif3away?
