Immigration Attorney - EOIR
position within a premier law firm with significant room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated EOIR Attorney to gain valuable experience and advance their career with an established firm. As the EOIR Attorney, you will report to the Sr. Associate Attorney, manage your caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with our Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants. Responsibilities Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions. Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Manage workload of cases efficiently. Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at centers. Prepare various immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions. Review immigration applications and packets, making necessary adjustments. Coordinate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding immigration law changes. Meet with potential clients for consultations and determine appropriate strategies. Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony. Provide legal analysis to identify potential case benefits. Draft and submit legal briefs for immigration cases. Qualifications 1-5 years of Immigration Law experience. Team player open to collaboration and strategizing with colleagues. Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to advance legal cases and manage a caseload. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and USCIS applications.
