$100 – $133.33/hr Job Summary: The
Actuary
will design, test, and maintain actuarial models on the
Milliman Integrate Actuarial platform
to support GAAP, U.S., and Bermuda statutory reporting. This role requires strong technical expertise, knowledge of actuarial projection software, and the ability to collaborate across teams while ensuring compliance with SOX and risk management policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Build actuarial models for newly acquired institutional blocks using Milliman Integrate. Support GAAP, statutory, and cash-flow testing processes. Develop and maintain model testing tools. Update assumptions and quantify impacts. Partner with production teams to deliver quarterly and monthly valuation results. Follow model development best practices, including change management, validation, documentation, and governance. Support internal/external audits and regulatory exams. Required Experience:
FSA or established ASA designation. 4+ years of life and annuity insurance industry experience. Proficiency in MG ALFA or other actuarial projection software. Strong communication, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field. Nice-to-Have Experience:
U.S. GAAP valuation experience. Experience with Python or SQL. Prior work in fast-paced or dynamic environments. Required Skills:
Actuarial modeling expertise MG ALFA or actuarial software proficiency Risk management and compliance knowledge Preferred Skills:
US GAAP valuation Programming (Python, SQL) Change management and model validation Additional Skills:
